Born in a historic town of Astrakhan, in the Southern part of Russia, to a large multicultural family Mira showed signs that destined her to be a person of unique will power and creativity from a very young age.

Her first education was in the Economics field where she was granted the Master' Degree from one of the most prestigious Russian institutions - Moscow State University. Having arrived to Moscow, Mira was at once accepted to the Moscow University Student Theatre where she was involved in numerous performances, in many of which playing leading parts. This empowering experience gave her even more strength to finally pursue her aspirations for professional acting.

Being successful in business and corporate world as well, Mira still couldn't resist her passion for performing arts and eventually found herself as Assistant director of Pyotr Fomenko Theatre  one of the leading theatrical companies in Moscow. From there her path was defined  and brought her to profound studies of acting both in Russian and American traditions: as a trainee to the best drama teachers in Moscow and finally as a graduate of 2-year Certificate programme from the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York.

She currently lives in New York working mostly in film and TV, the latest projects include "The Americans" (s3, ep6) and "House of Cards" (s3).
